3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We share your personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Other Users: When you create a prayer request or comment, that content is visible to other users of the Services according to your privacy settings.
  • App Administrators: Our designated administrators have access to user content for moderation purposes.
  • Firebase and Google Services: We use Firebase (provided by Google LLC) for authentication, database storage, analytics, and push notifications.
  • Law Enforcement and Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In Short: We use Firebase Analytics and similar mobile app tracking technologies to improve our Services.

As a mobile application, we do not use traditional web cookies. Instead, we use:

  • Firebase Analytics (anonymized usage data)
  • Device identifiers (anonymous identifiers)
  • App preferences (stored locally on your device)
  • Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

5. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: We offer Google Sign-In for convenient account creation and login.

When you choose to sign in with Google:

  • We receive: Your email address, name, and profile picture (if available)
  • We do not receive: Your Google password or private Gmail data
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We retain your information while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion.

We retain your personal information as follows:

  • Active Accounts: We keep your information for as long as your account remains active.
  • After Account Deletion: Your personal information is permanently deleted within 90 days.
  • Legal Requirements: We may retain certain information longer if required by law.

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age.

Our Services are intended for users aged 13 and older. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

14. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?

In Short: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.

Technical Security Measures:

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols
  • Password Security: Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
  • Firebase Security: We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules to restrict unauthorized access
  • Secure Storage: Sensitive data like authentication tokens are stored securely on your device
